52 if your salary already includes paid holiday (the usual case for salaried staff). Lower this if you're only paid for weeks actually worked.

Hourly rate

Annual

£32,000

Monthly

£2,666.67

Weekly

£615.38

Daily

£123.08

That's £3.70/hour above the National Living Wage (£12.71/hour for ages 21+).

These are gross (before tax) figures. Daily pay assumes a standard 5-day working week regardless of how your hours are actually spread — for a compressed or irregular schedule, treat it as a rough guide rather than exact.

How this calculator works

An annual salary and an hourly rate are the same underlying pay expressed two different ways — the conversion is just your total hours worked in a year (hours per week × weeks worked). Most salaried roles are paid for 52 weeks even though you don't work all of them, since paid annual leave is built into the salary; if you're only paid for hours actually worked (common for casual, zero-hours, or some freelance arrangements), lower the "weeks worked" figure to match.
